Symptoms of Panic Attacks – Learn about the Symptoms of Panic Attacks and See if you are suffering from Panic Attacks

A panic attack is a discrete period of intense fear or discomfort that is accompanied by one or more of the following symptoms. Please check out if you have some of these symptoms:

  • Palpitations
  • Excessive Sweating
  • Trembling
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Feelings of Choking
  • Chest Pain or Feeling of Heart Attack
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness
  • Dryness of Mouth
  • Severe Headache etc.

Panic Attacks may be of tow types:

1. Spontaneous (Uncued) Panic Attacks: These types of attacks are not associated with situational trigger. These attacks can occur during normal situations and sometimes while sleeping.

2. Situational (Cued) Panic Attacks: These attacks occur due to some uncomfortable situation or some kind of shock.
